Pressing Issues: Voices for Justice in the Book Arts

“Pressing Issues: Voices for Justice in the Book Arts” brings together over 100 artists’ books and prints to represent over 100 years of activism. A boldly intersectional exhibit, addressing both the breadth and depth of the fight for equality, subjects range from LGBTQ+ rights to racial equity, immigration to the labor movement, environmental justice to mental and public health.

We are offering a direct, personalized opportunity to experience the power of its items and its artists in the form of gallery tours hosted by the curator of the collection and our gallery manager, Meredith Santaus. Tours are available in person or online via Zoom during our regular weekday hours, or on Saturdays by request. Simply get in touch with us by phone at 617-247-2818 or by email at meredith@bromer.com to schedule your visit.
