Bromer Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of our upcoming exhibition, "A Visual Feast: The Art of Laura Davidson and David Esslemont", on Thursday, February 21st, with a cocktail reception from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. The exhibit brings together prints, watercolors, woodcuts, calligraphy, drawing, and bookbinding to create a tableau of book artistry.

Based out of Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood, Laura Davidson centers her work on past-made-present, using found objects and soft textures to imbue her work with nostalgia. She expresses her talents through a range of media, including books, drawings, prints, paper mosaics, and paper sculptures.

David Esslemont, born in England and currently a resident of northeast Iowa, focuses much of his artistic attention on the interaction between nature, art, and humanity. He often directly engages with nature in order to best present its nuanced beauty, and participates in his own visual narratives in his series of “food” books.

The exhibition will be on view until May 3rd, and you are welcome to visit our showroom and gallery at 607 Boylston Street Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm. We look forward to presenting this new show in our gallery and highlighting the artistry and craftsmanship of Laura Davidson and David Esslemont's work.
