A charming alphabetical bestiary of twenty-six-plus-one (colophon) double-page spreads made from color-printed copperplates employing stencils, viscosity, and monotype techiniques. Among the collected wildlife are "lackadaisical lobsters left little to lose" and "jaunty jaguars jousting in 'jamas." In a binding of Kuch's own design (patent pending, according to the inset panel at the lower cover), in which one side of the accordionfold is kept structurally sound by means of magnets. Boards covered in black cloth, upper cover with inlaid strips of silver cloth with black titling, at center an inlaid panel of marbled paper with an A in blind. Mint. Housed in four-flap box.
